Appointments
We make our best effort to find appointment times that are convenient for our patients. Unfortunately, it is not possible to schedule everyone after school. We reserve this time for monthly adjustments and retainer checks because they are short visits. This allows the fewest number of patients to miss school. Longer appointments that require significant individual attention (such as consultations or placement/removal of appliances) are usually scheduled earlier in the day. We ask for your courtesy when cancelling or rescheduling appointments so that we may use that time for others.
Insurance
As a courtesy to our patients, we are happy to verify and file orthodontic insurance benefits. We accept assignment on most plans regardless of our network status. It is important to note that many orthodontists do not participate in insurance networks. This is because orthodontic benefits are almost always the same regardless of network status. If you are unsure about your plan, give our office a call. We are happy to confirm your coverage and will always refer you to a participating provider if we determine it will be better for you. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, flexible spending accounts, and health savings accounts. We offer flexible payment plans.

Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts
During open enrollment, we often schedule consultations to plan insurance benefits for the upcoming year as well as withholdings for HSA’s and FSA’s. We also provide the necessary documentation required to submit for these types of payments.
